After a fiery fourth-quarter performance in Game 1 as the Dallas Mavericks took a 1-0 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Luka Doncic doubled down in Game 2 with another thrilling performance.
After trailing by 18 in the second quarter, Doncic again delayed the Mavs en route to a second-half comeback. Danczyk scored 32 points on 10-of-23 shooting from the field with five 3-pointers. Doncic finished with a triple-double in Game 2 with 13 assists and 10 boards.
Doncic capped off his performance with a game-winning shot over the Defensive Player of the Year. As the clock wound down, Doncic danced around Rudy Gobert before dunking over the big Frenchman for a deep 3-pointer. With three seconds left, Danzig barked Gobert to the floor as the target went center silent.
Following Donczyk’s shot to give the Mavs a 2-0 lead over the Timberwolves, Draymond Green reacted on Instagram. Doncic looked in the face of Jaden McDaniels before making a 3-pointer over Gobert.
