A Japan Airlines flight with passengers on board collided with a Coast Guard aircraft on the runway at Tokyo's Haneda Airport and caught fire on Tuesday, Nippon TV reported.
Live footage on public broadcaster NHK showed flames pouring out of the plane's windows.
A Japan Airlines spokesman said more than 300 passengers were on board the flight, which took off from Shin-Chitose Airport in Hokkaido.
